4 Easy Ways to Remove a Scratch on Your Phone

Our cell phones are bound to fall victim to inevitable scuffs and scratches. This may happen whether it’s by a key or worse… An accidental drop. Consistently purchasing a new phone or bringing it to a cell phone repair shop isn’t always the best solution especially since they can be expensive. The following are easy to-do repairs for minor scratches.

  1. Toothpaste

Surprisingly, the best way to fix a minor scuff is by using what’s been sitting in your bathroom. The trick is by using an actual paste instead of gel. How do you use it? Use a cotton swab and apply a bit of toothpaste on it. Softly rub the scuff in a circular motion until it goes away.

  1. Removal Creams for Car Scratches

Cars have their own creams for removing scratches. You may use them to minimize the damage. You can do this by simply using a clean cloth, and gently rub the application in a circular motion.

  1. Baking Soda

Baking soda is not just for baking and cleaning anymore. Surprising, there are many ways that you can use baking soda. One of them is for removing the scratches on your phone. Here’s how to:

Combine 2 tbsp of baking soda and 1 tbsp of water in a bowl. Mix it until it is thick in consistency like a paste. Dab a small amount of the mixture on a clean cloth and apply directly on the scratch. Remove any excess paste when you are done.

  1. Vegetable Oil

Just like baking soda, using vegetable oil to remove a scuff sounds a little surprising, but vegetable oil actually works for very small and hidden scratches. Add a tiny drop of oil on the scratch, and this may solve a very small cosmetic wear.
